Supplier Diversity at SGL Solutions

Our goal at  SGL Solutions is to actively promote the inclusion of diverse suppliers in our procurement processes. We believe that a diverse supplier base enhances our business operations, fosters innovation, and reflects our commitment to social responsibility.​

Scope

This applies to all procurement activities undertaken by  SGL Solutions, including choosing suppliers for goods, services, and subcontracting opportunities. It applies to all employees and contractors involved in procurement and supplier management.

Definitions

Diverse Supplier: A business that is at least 51% owned, operated, and controlled by one or more individuals who are part of a traditionally underrepresented or underserved group. This includes, but is not limited to, businesses owned by women, minorities, veterans, LGBTQ+ individuals, and persons with disabilities.

Policy Statement

SGL Solutions is committed to:

  • Actively seeking out diverse suppliers to ensure they can compete for our business.

  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with diverse suppliers to support their growth and development.

  • Encouraging our primary contractors to engage with diverse suppliers as part of their supply chain.

  • Regularly reviewing and updating our supplier diversity practices to ensure continuous improvement.
